All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) are not permitted on Town of Alfred Roads. New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) states that ATVs may not be operated on a highway unless it has been designated and posted for ATV use by the state or local authority. The Town of Alfred has not passed a law permitting ATV operation on Town roads, therefore, ATV use on Town of Alfred roads is prohibited.
